CHARLIE HONORED AT SNOWBALL DERBY
Before his death, Charlie was setting the
Southeastern short track world on fire with victories
from Alabama to South Carolina in his familar
red #78 Super Late Model.

Charlie was on such a hot streak that he clinched
the track championship at Mobile Speedway (AL).
Sadly, he would not be around to collect his
trophy and winner's hardware.  That was presented
to his widow Brandi during December's Snowball
Derby at Five Flags Speedway in an emotional
ceremony.  Fans, teams and fellow racers missed
seeing their friend, who won the prestigous race in
2003, and remembered him fondly during the race
weekend.

We will continue with Charlie's site as a memorial to the person who touched so many lives.  If you would like to share a story that involved Charlie, please do so by clicking the link below.  We will be posting new stories here on Charlie's site.
